Dedicated circuits for split units, geysers, ovens and hobs — the loads a general circuit cannot carry.
An air-conditioning installer connects the unit to a point; somebody has to put the point there first, on its own circuit, with an isolator the installer can reach. The same goes for the geyser, the oven and the hob. In an older Maltese flat these loads are often hanging off a socket circuit that was never meant for them, and the RCD tells you so every summer.
We do not publish a price for a dedicated circuit because no Maltese guide does, and the honest range depends on the run from the board. It is quoted on site, itemised, and it is usually done in a morning.
Air-conditioning installers in Malta quote the electrical point separately, and no published guide carries a figure for it. It is quoted after the site visit; a plain new socket is shown for scale.
| Job | Unit | Band | What is in it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Air-conditioning electrical point | point | quoted on site | a dedicated circuit for a split unit — quoted on site |
| Water heater circuit | point | quoted on site | quoted on site |
| New double socket | per socket | €50 – €120 | a new point on an existing circuit, chased or surface |
A band, not a quote: the low end is a straightforward job with clear access, the high end is the same job with the complications a site visit finds. Materials are included where the line says so.

You deal with us, not with the trade. We visit, we quote a fixed price, we bring in a REWS-authorised electrician from the CheckYourTraders-verified network, and we stand behind the work. One point of contact, one contract, one invoice — and a certificate at the end.
